David Pearson
David Pearson is currently the Operations Pastor at Springwell Church in Taylors SC. David led children's ministry twelve years prior to becoming a Church Administrator. In David's previous children's ministry, he launched the ministry from the ground up, starting with 5 children and leaving with over 150 in weekly attendance. He has been a part of Lifeway's Centrikid Summer Camps as a speaker for ten years, has led breakouts at Lifeway's Kids Ministry Conference and ETCH Conferences. He is a writer for Lifeway's "Exploring the Bible for Kids" Curriculum and is active in children's ministry consulting for churches.
David married his wife Erin in November of 2021 and they have two children, Pate, and Lily Beth.
Matthew Haines
Matthew Haines has been serving in children’s ministry to some degree for over 15 years and vocationally for 7. He has been the Children’s Pastor at Springwell Church in Taylors, SC since August of 2019. He was trained through the leadership development program at North Point Ministries in Atlanta where he also began his career and served for 5 years before moving to South Carolina. In his current position, Matthew has nearly doubled the size of his volunteer team, created a special needs ministry from the ground up and developed a strategy utilizing Amazon Alexa that churches all over are using to streamline Sunday morning communication in family ministry. Through his history in working with foster families and special needs children, Matthew is passionate about creating environments for kids of all different backgrounds.
Matthew and his wife, Ansley, have been married since 2018 and they love date nights in downtown Greenville and weekends in the mountains of Tennessee.
